Understanding Geopathic & Electromagnetic Stress (ARTICLE)
Roy Riggs B.Sc.

Geobiology explores the relationship between life and the Earth’s physical and chemical environment. The term was adopted many years ago by some German dowsers, ‘geobiologists’ who specialised in surveying houses for both geopathic and electromagnetic stress using both dowsing and scientific instruments.

The history of geobiology in this respect dates back to 1929 when a German aristocrat Baron Gustov Von Pohl, an eminent dowser, made the extraordinary claim that cancer was caused by ‘energy lines’ that ran under the beds of the people that had died from the disease. To test his theory he persuaded the Mayor of the Bavarian town of Vilsbiburg to allow him to survey the town for such energies with his dowsing rod. The Mayor agreed and in January that year Baron Von Pohl accompanied by the Mayor and other officials measured numerous energy lines that ran through the streets and houses of the town. Baron Von Pohl’s energy lines were then compared with the town’s record of houses where people had died from cancer during the last ten years, which showed a remarkable coincidence. Well this surprised the establishment at the time, and knowing Vilsbiburg to have a high degree on cancer victims anyway he was asked to repeat the exercise in the City of Stetten which had a far lower incidence of cancer thus ironing out any chance factors. When measurements were taken in the City of Stetten, Dr. Harger, chairman of the city's medical scientific association, declared that all such ‘deadly earth currents’ ran beneath the beds of all the 5,348 people who had died from cancer during the last 21 years. This inspired some scientists and medical engineers to probe into the matter more deeply.

In the 1930’s a French engineer Pierie Cody who lived in the sea-port of Le Havre knew of local ‘cancer houses’ in the port where many people had died from cancer over the years. He decided to investigate the matter using a gold leaf electroscope. After checking large numbers of these dwellings, Cody concluded that the air in these ‘Cancer Houses’ were ionized to an unusual degree. From various other tests Cody concluded that the ionization radiation consisted of positively charged Alpha Particles. The only known source of alpha particle emission in dwellings was from a radioactive gas called Radon. (The National Radiological Protection Board (NRPB) estimates that out of 50.000 lung cancer deaths a year in Great Britain, Radon gas is responsible for about 2,500 cases.) Cody’s early research seemed to backup Baron Von Pohl’s findings that noxious vapors/energy from underground water baring fissures were responsible for many of the cases of cancer.

The war disrupted further research.
In the 1950’s the idea was again explored by Dr. Joseph Würst, a German scientist and Jakob Stängle, a German engineer and dowser. Dr Würst conducted experiments in several German towns, in the rooms of cancer patients and found unusual amounts of gamma radiation in the houses he surveyed using a Geiger –counter. Stängle, who had a very good reputation of locating water bearing fissures in crystalline rock with his dowsing rod developed a stintilisation counter more sensitive and accurate than a Geiger counter and carried out a scientific survey in the French town of Moulins where a local physician, Dr, J Prichard claimed that cancer victims in the town dwelt above geological faults. Whilst Würst and Stängle thought that gamma radiation from fissures could be a significant cause of cancer, more recent studies suggest that this is unlikely as gamma radiation tends to whiz straight through the body rather than causing direct hits on DNA. The culprit is thought to be the more pernicious alpha radiation from Radon which is found with high levels of gamma radiation. Research in this field continues with an increasing number of sophisticated environmental measuring instruments coming on the market to aid the geobiologist in identifying causative factors to illness and disease.

Dr Hans Nieper: a widely respected cancer specialist says in his book, "Revolution in Technology Medicine and Society" that, "According to studies I have initiated, at least 92% of all the cancer patients I have examined have remained for long periods of time – especially in respect of their sleeping place in geopathically stressed zones." Cancer as a disease of location has now become widely accepted amongst cancer specialists in Germany and other European countries. On the advice of geobiologists patients regularly move their beds to safer positions where necessary. These investigations have also spread to other serious illnesses that have also been associated with these geopathic zones and many doctors and cancer specialists use the services of geobiologists to survey the houses of their patience.

The claim that the geobiologists were making was that by using both dowsing and scientific instrumentation pathogenic zones could be identified; and that sleeping or spending long periods of time above them were linked to ill health, debilitating diseases and cancer. As a result of this The Institute of Consumer Research and Product Marketing in Vienna decided to test the theory. The aim of their report was to establish whether these ‘Disturbed Sites’ can produce statistically significant results to support the high degree of topicality the phenomenon was having in both main stream and alternative medical practices. The research was conducted by a team of distinguished professors, doctors, engineers, scientists and dowsers. To test this hypothesis the research team used the services of three dowsers known for there expertise in locating earth energies. They were enlisted to independently dowse eight different locations and submit reports and diagrams of the strongest ‘Disturbed Zones’ (Geopathic Zones) found, together with a ‘Neutral Zone’ at the same location to enable them to carryout double blind experiments with volunteers at each selected location. The dowsers found that the greatest pathogenic influences came from the movement of underground streams, Hartmann/ Curry global grid lines and geological fault lines. In order to rule out possible influences of man made electromagnetic or microwave disturbances at each location an independent report from an electromechanical engineer was requested for each chosen site.

The medical-biological Investigations at both the ‘Disturbed Zones’ and the ‘Neutral Zones’ were standardised:

1. Investigations after 15 minuets stay on Neutral Zone.
2. Investigations after 15 minutes stay on the ‘Disturbed Zone’.
3. Investigations again after a further 15 minute stay on a Neutral Zone.

At present, these so called ‘Disturbed Zones’ can only be indicated by dowsers, with its presence being then verified with scientific instrumentation. Technology does not yet exist to do this the other way round; the dowser does not yet appear to be replaceable with scientific instrumentation.

Volunteers were sought to participate in these experiments. As a rule clinically healthy subjects between the ages of 20-35 years were screened. A number of these were rejected when illnesses (circulation interferences and infections) were discovered. Other participants were also used from the Outpatient’s Department for Physical Therapy in the Rehabilitation Centre, Grobming and from the Surgery of Dr. Korinek. The research programme was carried out between September 1987 and December 1988. None of the volunteers used were given information about the relative ‘Disturbed Zones’ and ‘Neutral Zones’

Research Results
The project involved the testing of 24 different biological parameters involving 985 trial volunteers in 6,943 investigations using 462, 421 individual measurements.
.
Conclusion of Vienna Report
‘ The ‘Location Effect’ of the ‘Disturbed Zone’ on regulatory systems of the human organism is proved without doubt and raises the question of which substratum, subsystem or system the location dependant powers primarily attack.’

The test results were lined up by Biometric Significance and are valued with Serotonin alteration, Blood Corpuscle Decline Speed and Immunoglobulin deficiencies in lead position.

Serotonin
Serotonin decreased by a factor of 6 on the ‘Disturbed Zone’ whilst increasing its metabolism to advance Tryptophan in compensation. This reaction was highly significant.

Immunoglobulins
The three Immunoglobulins that were examined; IgA, IgG, and IgM showed clear reactions on the geopathic zones. Immunoglobulin IgA showing the highest significant drop. These values later normalised when latter blood samples were analysed when the subjects were tested on the ‘neutral zone’.

Blood Sedimentation Speed
Blood corpuscle decline speed slowed down whilst on the ‘Disturbed Zone’

The research team concluded that there was no evidence to relate ‘Disturbed Zones’ to a specific illness but should be rather determined as a risk factor that can reinforce the effect of different pathogenic factors. ‘Geopathic Stress’ as a result of spending time above a ‘Disturbed Zone’ belongs to other similar risk factors such as;

• Environmental Chemicals, Poisons & Pollutants.
• Malnutrition / Diet
• Recreational Drugs
• Alcohol
• Psychosocial Stressors
• Genetic Weaknesses
• Electromagnetic Pollution

As time has progressed other environmental monitoring equipment has been added to my survey such as a geomagnetometer for measuring anomalies in the Earth’s natural DC field above the sleeping place (see diagrams below) and equipment that measures microwave energy in the home from mobile phone masts, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled equipment

How some mattress springs and metal bed frames can distort the Earth’s natural magnetic field and affect the health of people sleeping on them.

This is a geogram of a sleeping area I took on undisturbed land which shows a steady uniform Earth magnetic field vector that reacts positively with our body’s bioelectric system in controlling amongst other things, circadian rhythms and hormone production such as Melatonin.

This is a geogram of a sleeping area I took in a London flat. The lady who slept on this mattress suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and severe depression. Her sleeping site was strongly disturbed by the springs in her mattress and from the outside edge line of an underground stream. I find there is no magic formula for curing this type of disturbance other then moving the bed to a neutral zone and replacing the mattress with one without springs.

Biological Effects
Each static magnetic field bump or sink on the above geogram may speed up or slow down body fluids (blood and lymphatic) in exposed areas such as the brain, heart, lung, liver, legs etc. Sleep time exposure to the same sharp variations of magnetic fields for years may induce some chronic health effect. The World Health Organisation in a health criteria report recognises interactions between variations in static magnetic fields in cellular tissues to include an induction of electrical potentials and magneto hydrodynamic effects in the circulatory systems and by direct stimulation of nerve and muscle cells even under extremely weak thresholds.

In total, the survey I undertake to determine the extent a house is subjected to debilitating energies contains the following.

• Hartmann/Curry global grid lines
• Subterranean water course
• Geological fault lines
• Unclassified energy lines
• Raw gamma radiation count (Radon Indicator)
• A/C time varying magnetic fields strength from mains electricity measured in nano Tesla (nT)
• A/C ambient electric field strength from mains electricity measured in volts per meter (V/m)
• Geomagnetic anomaly of sleeping site.
• Value/strength of microwave invasion from mobile phone masts or other Bluetooth or Wi-Fi enabled technology.

I use a dowsing rod to detect the energy fields marked in bold and scientific instrumentation for the rest. This marriage of pure science with the more esoteric nature of dowsing provides a more holistic approach to understanding the nature of illness relevant to the different types of energies found in typical households. The most prominent and valued instrument out of all these is my dowsing rod.

Some case Histories Relating to Geopathic/Electromagnetic Stress

Example One
This woman slept in this position for 12 years but only developed leukemia in the last twelve months when she began to suffer from insomnia and an energy depleted state. This can be expected since experience has shown that the radiation generated from the outside edge water line (blue) produced by the movement of a subterranean water course is associated with that particular development. The illness developed into lymphoid leukemia only after the introduction of a bedside reading lamp that had a transformer in its base producing 301 nT (nano Tesla) in the area of the sleeping site on the right hand side of the bed. Where radiation is a factor in the chronic types of leukemia there seems to be an interaction between the two banded Hartmann line (red), the outside water line (produced by the movement of a subterranean water course) and elevated levels of AC pulsed magnetic fields above 200nT that serves that to promote this condition.

Example Two:
Two-year old girl with germ cell cancer of the brain not responding to medical treatment. An anomaly in the earth’s natural geomagnetic DC field of some 32,600 nT produced by the springs in the mattress was measured over a distance of nine centimetres in the area of the girl’s head. After changing the mattress, which had no springs she responded to treatment with a successful outcome. The survey produced no dowsable evidence of any type of detrimental energy line and both the A/C pulsed magnetic and electric fields were normal.

Example Three
Man and women suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Both 25 years old, became ill after living in this small cottage for about a year. Their dog slept in a radiation zone and died from lymphoid cancer during this time. These two people were almost totally incapacitated by this radiation, physically and mentally. The place where they slept had two underground streams, and a 2-banded Hartmann line running through the area. These produced the following symptoms: very severe energy depleted state, insomnia, depression, headaches, short term memory loss, food intolerance, panic attacks, muscle and joint pains. In the short term the radiation found in the area of the bed represented a classic Chronic Fatigue Syndrome state. In the long term the configuration found on both sides of the bed represents typical cancer sites.

Conclusion
My job as a geobiologist takes me far and wide in this country and many others. I have just recently returned from South Africa where I assessed a 5 acre plot of land for geopathic energies prior to building a large domestic dwelling . My own research in this matter continues having recently given a lecture at the London School of Integrative Medicine, Westminster University on this relatively new up and coming subject.

Current medical thinking is beginning to wake up to the importance of these geopathic energies and the ability of dowsers to locate them. However there is still resistance among those versed only in Classical Newtonian medical science in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. It is a paradox that rejection without proof is fundamental to Western classical science, whilst acceptance without proof is fundamental to Western religion. The way forward is to replace the word ‘proof’ or ‘true’ with the word ‘useful’; physics, religion and dowsing then appears in its proper place. What About The Cordless Phones I Use In My House?

Digital cordless phones and their base units emit pulsed microwaves and these can exceed the levels from an actual mobile phone in areas where the mobile phone service has good signal strengths. Holding a digital cordless (DECT) phone to their head will always expose the user to higher levels of microwave fields than they will ever experience (in public access areas) from a mobile phone base-station. Most DECT base units continuously emit pulsed microwave radiation even when no call is in progress. The level is typically still over 3 V/m half a meter away from the base unit and can be over 1 V/m in rooms directly above. These are higher field levels than those measured from a typical mobile phone mast. If you are concerned about the potential adverse health effects from microwave radiation, you might want to think carefully about whether you want a DECT phone in your house. If you want it to monitor incoming calls when you are, for instance, at the bottom of the garden, then answer the call briefly, and have the main conversation on a normal wired phone when you go back inside. All types of microwave exposure at the levels received from handset use have been shown to produce genetic damage inside blood cells. Radio frequency radiation has been used for a variety of covert purposes for some :considerable time. It was used to deter the women at Greenham Common, some of whom still suffer ongoing health problems. The Soviet’s irradiation of the US embassy in Moscow produced serous adverse health effects, including Ieukaemias and lymphomas, was the conclusion reached by a relatively recent re-analysis of the Lilienfeld report (Refs) based on information from USA Defense Intelligence Agency papers that only became fully available following the Freedom Information Act. Over 23 years ago the US was well aware of both cognitive and biochemical changes in the brains of adults exposed to pulsed microwave radiation. It is also interesting to note that the microwave frequencies the Russians used in many of their microwave weapon experiments were around 1800 MHz the same as is now used in Europe for GSMI800 / PCN and for DECT cordless phones.

Are Mobile Phone Base Stations Safe?
Nothing that we live with is 100% safe. Everything in our environment carries some level of risk potential, some of which have been investigated in detail (e.g. petrol and diesel and their combustion products), and others that are being used with little investigation (e.g. the many novel chemicals now present in our water and food, due to agricultural practices, packaging and storage processes, water fluoridation, etc.). The power used to transmit signals from mobile phone base stations to the phones themselves is very low, and we do not believe that it has any ability to heat tissue, which is the only effect we are currently protected against by law. The signals from all base stations pulse to varying extents. It is this pulsing that has been associated by many leading scientists with harm to biological living systems. Areas of pulsing are found all around base stations and are likely to be the trigger for many of the health problems reported by people living and I or working in the vicinity. The visual impact of the masts is also likely to result in indirect health problems caused by stress. It is also possible, if not probable, that the electromagnetic pollution caused by the sea of microwaves we are now experiencing is interacting with other environmental toxic substances, causing our immune systems to become dysfunctional.

Mobile Phones: Latest Research December 2004
Handsets give of microwaves which cause cells to mutate in a way which cannot be easily stopped. The effect is worse when the body is exposed to five minute bursts of mobile use rather than long term sessions. The researchers found that cell mutation appeared to be more severe in older people. The findings of the EU-funded study showed that phone signals released highly reactive groups of free radicals which caused DNA to mutate. Franz Aldrkofer who led the 4 year £2.2 million study said: ‘We don’t want to create panic but it is good to take precautions’. A spokesman for the mobile phone industry stated: ‘The findings of this European study are pretty controversial’

HEALTH RISKS DUE TO HIGH ELECTRIC AND MAGNETIC FIELDS
www.powerwatch.org.uk

Health risks due to exposure to electromagnetic fields EMF’s in the home were first suggested in America by Wertheimer and Leeper, when they estimated the levels people were exposed to, using ‘wire codes’, and the local incidence of childhood leukemia. Since that time, international research has increased year by year, and the potential health risks have been identified as cancer (especially childhood leukaemia, probably the most studied illness because of the original findings), depression, suicide, miscarriage, some forms of dementia, respiratory and immune system problems. Because there are other causes of these illnesses, it is not clear what role EMF’s play in their development. Much of the research in the past 35 years into EMF health effects has concentrated on magnetic fields because they are easier to measure and it was thought they were more likely to interact with our bodies’ cells. Most scientists believe that, although EMF’s do not directly cause the illness in most cases, at least, living in fields above 200 nT (nano Tesla) may make a person develop the cancer or other illness, when if they didn’t live in this field level, their bodies would be able to repair themselves, or cope with the daily damage from other causes in a healthier way. Some field levels stop prescribed drugs like tamoxifen from working. Electric fields are increasingly being studied and the initial findings seem to indicate that they may be as hazardous to health as the magnetic fields. The very high electric fields associated with high voltage overhead power lines also cause air ionisation, charging toxic aerosols so that they become even more dangerous. Initial findings associate lung and skin cancer with exposure to such ionisation. There is evidence that when both magnetic and electric fields are high there may be an even greater risk of ill-health. Important areas to be aware of are bedrooms, especially where pillows are on beds, because EMF’s affect an area of the brain, called the pineal gland, which works to protect the body against illness overnight. It is also a good idea to look at places like a favorite armchair, or in front of a computer or TV. It is important that places like these where you are sitting or lying still for a longish period of time should have low EMF’s; cells tend to cope better with external fields if the person is moving around. When you are sitting still and particular cells keep being interfered with by EMF’s, there is an increased risk that the damage may become unrepairable. Children are more likely to be affected than adults because their cells are more rapidly dividing as they grow. Most children sleep for longer than adults. If their bed place is in high EMF’s their health may be affected. It is worthwhile taking particular precautionary action with regard to children’s living environments. Pets can also be susceptible to EMF’s in the environment. They are, by and large, short lived, but there is enough evidence of e.g. dogs sleeping next to night storage heaters developing cancer so it is also worth while making adjustments for them. However, not everybody is susceptible to adverse health effects from EMF’s. if for example, a child statistically has a 1 in a 2000 chance of developing leukemia, and because they live near an EMF source associated with an increased risk of developing this form of cancer their risk level doubles (i.e. changes to I in 1000), there are still 999 chances out of 1000 they will not develop leukemia whilst living in this field. It is an increased risk, but far from a certainty.

Main Reported Symptoms of Living With High Electromagnetic Fields: Insomnia, headaches, depression.

Professor Ross Adey’s research of the bio-effects of living in both high EMF’s and pulsed microwaves.
1. The effects on immune system; reduction of white blood cells to kill tumor cells.
2. Effects on fetal development and psycho-sexual development.
3. Higher instance of miscarriage.
4. Accelerates growth in existing cancer cells.
5. Effects central nervous system and the brain in the ways which effect powerful stress sensitive
Powerwatch UK recommend that domestic dwellings, especially sleeping places should have an electric field lower than 10 V/m (volts per meter) and an AC pulsed magnetic field below 100 nT

Foresight Infertility Programme

Over the last two decades, there has been a significant rise in the number of couples experiencing fertility problems:

• Sperm counts have dropped by 50 per cent in the last ten years.’
• Men are showing an increasing number of sperm abnormalities.
• A quarter of all couples planning a baby have trouble conceiving.
• It is not uncommon for a couple without any fertility problems to take two to three years to conceive.
• One in four women miscarry. Some experience repeated miscarriages as often as ten times.
• More and more couples are turning to fertility treatments to enable them to have a family

Of the couples who seek medical help, 30 per cent are told they have ‘unexplained infertility’ for which the doctors can offer no treatment. There is an epidemic of sub fertility — and in many cases the doctors do not know what the cause, though many suspect an environmental issue.

In the animal world, fertility is paramount for the survival of any species. However, the human race today has a number of fertility problems. Men are showing sperm abnormalities (such as sperm with two heads or sperm chat are so sluggish they cannot reach the egg). Some women have a number of menstrual cycles during which they do not ovulate; or, when fertilization happens, the embryo does not implant in the womb.

To explain these anomalies, we have to go back to the foundations of health. The egg and sperm are only as healthy as the man and woman who produce them. If there are any problems with either the egg or the sperm, however subtle, nature will either try to stop fertilization occurring or, if it does take place, a miscarriage may follow.

One reason why so many couples are diagnosed with ‘unexplained infertility’ is that doctors cannot put it down to a specific, observable medical cause. But I believe that infertility is a multi-factorial problem and should be investigated that way. That means looking at a variety of issues, such as nutrition, alcohol, smoking, levels of lead and other toxic metals, pesticides, food additives, and the environmental hazards of both electromagnetic and geopathic stress.

Over the last 20 years, Foresight has pioneered an approach to fertility that looks at the fundamentals of health, including lifestyle, diet, pollutants, infections and environmental and occupational hazards and gives an unprecedented 80 per cent success rate. Researchers from the University of Surrey followed the progress of 367 couples over a period of three years (1990—3). The women were aged between 22 and 45, and the men were aged 25 to 59. In all, 37 per cent of the couples had a history of infertility, and 38 per cent had experienced between one and five miscarriages (others had had other problems, including still births, malformations and low birth-weight babies).

Many of the couples were older, coming to the trial as a last resort.

By the end of the three-year trial, 89 per cent (327 of the couples) had given birth. Out of those couples with a previous history of infertility, 81 per cent conceived and had babies. Out of those who had experienced a previous miscarriage, 83 per cent had a baby within the three years of the study, without experiencing another miscarriage.

Have You Been Sleeping Above an Underground Stream?

Influence of Underground Water Veins and Geological fault Lines on the Autonomous Nervous System:

It has been scientifically proven for the first time, with a double blind study by means of an electrocardiogram, that the detrimental effects of “water veins” and other geopathically disturbing phenomena can cause serious health problems to persons exposed to them.

This presentation took place in March 2003 in the large auditorium of the Saint Johanns-hospital Landesklinjken Salzburg Germany. (Salzburg Country Clinics), Mullner Hauptstraae 48, A-5020 Salzburg statt. There were about 400 people present including numerous renowned specialists; physicians, physicists and geologists, in the all-German audience.

Excerpts from Press articles from the Salzburg Country Clinic:
‘ Research teams from Salzburg and Vienna have provided scientific proof that Geopathogenically Disturbed Zones have a massive influence on the body and its nervous system…’

‘These phenomena have been known about for millennia: On the one hand pilgrims visited certain stones or specially determined places in order to receive new power, on the other hand before purchasing a building or house, a water diviner is sent over the area or through the rooms, around perhaps zones disturbed by water veins to find stone rejections or in the electromagnetic field of the earth aufzuspuren and therefore the optimal location. A research team from Salzburg and Vienna have now proved for the first time, by being able to underpin and furnish scientific proof, that such so-called geopathogenic disturbed zones have a detrimental influence on the human body. ‘

These energies seem to affect women more than men. The main early warning symptoms:

Energy depleted state. Panic attacks.
Insomnia. Depression
Headaches Short term memory loss.
Loss of balance Hypersensitivity to light
Muscle and joint pains. Candidacies.

Microwave News - Neuronal Death

Nerve Cell Damage in Mammalian Brain after Exposure to Microwaves from Mobile phones. Lund University Hospital Sweden.

This is dramatic confirmation of our worst fears. Over 5 years ago we were writing that heavy mobile phone use caused people to have short term memory problems - indeed it was a joke among some service and installation engineers that they would forget to turn off at the right road and end up in the next village (etc). Then a senior BT engineer developed severe dementia aged only 38 and was eventually retired due to ill health - though BT deny any possibility that it was work related. He had been using an early GSM phone for typically 6 hours per day - sometimes even using two phones, one to each ear, when trying to debug faulty exchanges and data-comms centres. Then we discovered that there was apparently a general increase in early-onset dementias (before the age of 55) in many areas of the UK such that some hospitals were setting up new treatment/management units to help these people cope.

Now we have both a possible mechanism (leakage of large molecules such as albumin through the blood-brain barrier) and direct evidence of neuronal death in rats. This occurred at 2 mW/kg SAR level .... mobile phones are allowed (ICNIRP) to put up to 1000 times this SAR (2000 mW/kg or 2 W/kg) into the user's head! Extensive brain cell death was seen by an exposure level of 20 mW/kg for just one two hour period. All mobile phone use with the phone held next to your ear will cause at least this level of microwave exposure to your brain cells - most phone can put more than 200 mW/kg into your brain cells when they are working. Twelve to 26 weeks old rats were chosen for these tests. Fifty days later they were sacrificed and their brains sectioned and stained. The authors write: "The situation of the growing brain might deserve special concern from the society since biological and maturational processes are particularly vulnerable. The intense use of mobile phones by youngsters is a serious memento. A neuronal damage of the kind, here described, may not have immediately demonstrable consequences, even if repeated. It may, however, in the long run, result in reduced brain reserve capacity that might be unveiled by other later neuronal disease or even the wear and tear of ageing. We can not exclude that after some decades of (often), daily use, a whole generation of users, may suffer negative effects maybe already in their middle age."
