Miscarriage
« Back to index
If you are reading this page because you have recently had a miscarriage, I am so sad for you. I know how heart-breaking this can be. Even if the pregnancy was a surprise,
all babies are so loved and wanted as soon as we realise they are there, we cannot bear to lose them.
I believe that at least all the little souls survive and will be much loved and cared for in the Hereafter, and we will meet them all when we pass over. I lost three babies,
long ago, and these were the thoughts that kept me going through that time.
These were some of the problems that influenced me to start Foresight.
So here we are. Before you try for that next pregnancy, I would start on the full Foresight programme, click here »
There is much research, (which we hope to get onto the website for you in the next few months) showing that lack of certain nutrients; toxins from smoking or
alcohol; genito-urinary infections; allergies; parasites; toxic metals; mineral deficiency; electromagnetic pollution (mobile phones, WiFi etc.) and other toxic
substances can cause miscarriages.
We will help you to find out what to do about it all. See Main Areas of Concern. Added to these health problems the ubiquitous “stress”. A lot of women are expected
to work too hard. In our child-bearing years we should try to kick free from too much pressure. We are usually expect to do housework, ironing, shopping, cooking,
clearing up, gardening and so on, as well as a “full-time” job! There may be a lot of travelling involved. There may be elderly parents to look after. There may be
other small children.
Many of you are pressuring yourselves, or being pressured. You are often expected to work like 2 people and also to make babies! This may all be too much for one body!
Maybe sit back and take stock. The most important career for a woman is raising a family. This is our real life.
Maybe there are ways of making money at home. Maybe you could do with a change? Maybe you could make do with less money and more rest? Mull it over.
If you are over-tired a lot of the time, you may need to take care of YOU a bit more.
Another pregnancy hazard appears to be the ultrasound scanning. See the AIMS (Association for Improvement in Maternity Services)
website www.aims.org.uk also their little booklet “Ultrasound Unsound”. It is worth reading.
A lot of people come to Foresight telling us that they had a scan at 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 weeks and that the baby was alive and well but that when they
went for a further scan a month or so late, it was seen that the baby had died at the time of the first scan. This has happened too often to be a coincidence.
If you are called in for a scan, ask if it is absolutely medically necessary. Do not be bullied. You have the right to protect your own baby.
At our last count-up, we had no miscarriages with people who had not previously had one. In those who had had one earlier there was a 7% loss.
However, this is a lot better than the national rate for those who had lost previously, which is 33%.
If we all do everything we possibly can, I believe this rate will come down even further.
I have written my book “Beautiful Babies, Fabulous Families, Wonderful World” for you
all with all I have learned over 40 years of running Foresight. I hope you will read it, I believe it will be helpful.
